A thicknesser and Planer available in Chelsea Heights

If you’re in the market for some very old but useful machines, here’s an opportunity to take them for free. The items available are: 

• A 3-phase thicknesser that can take off millimetres at a time and handle boards up to 450mm wide. It can run all day. 

• A 3-phase planer capable of handling boards up to 240mm wide and can plane or rebate as needed.

A lathe, 2 saws, handtools and timber in North Melbourne

Offer of Machinery to a good home(s).  A keen woodworker of many years has 3 machines that he no longer uses. He would be happy to give them to other woodworkers who could make good use of them.

The machines and tools are:

• Woodfast Lathe model MC908

• Ryobi Scroll saw

• Hyco Band saw

• Several Planers

• A piece of timber he believes is Huon pine – see photo of the back & a photo of the front of this timber piece.

• Another piece of unknow timber

They have not been used for several years but have at all times been housed in a garage. The machines are located in a garage in North Melbourne and would need to be collected from the garage. We are unable to provide delivery or any assistance putting them on any transport.
