This month’s Meeting for Member’s and Students is a visit to the workshops of the Faculty of Architecture Building and Planning of The University of Melbourne.

Workshop Manager, Hamish Hill will give us an insight into the many activities students and staff get up to in this Facility, from furniture design and making to Chinese Gateway design and construction.

Student work from the first semester will be on display.

The Architecture Faculty is in temporary accommodation and the entry to the current workshop is via the wooden gates just around the corner from Swanston Street right next to gate 7 on the attached map.

The building is 757 Swanston St but enter from Grattan St (click here for PDF Map)

Enter via wooden gates on Grattan St (See photo of entrance, below.)

Parking is generally easiest in Cardigan or Bouverie Streets.
