Meet#27 Joe Chester Treehorn Design

The February VWA members meeting will be a workshop visit hosted by Joe Chester from Treehorn Design (http://treehorndesign.com). Over a the last few years Joe has built a vibrant business specialising in beautifully designed wooden jewellery and homewares. Treehorn Design products are sold in retailers across Australia and through their online shop.

Joe will talk about the setting up Treehorn Design, his production process, where he gets his inspiration, and give a tour of his workshop.

Joe works from a workshop which is part of the Workco cooperative (www.worco.org). Worco is a not-for-profit Co-operative organization made up of over a dozen craftsmen & women, and includes wrought ironworks, furnituremaking, beds and kitchen cabinetry, lead-lighting, harpsichord and violin making. Some of the other Workco craftspeople will also be there to talk about their work.
