I recently completed a bench, SLYD which was on display at Craft+Design Canberra earlier in March. I have also been developing some ideas for upcoming work based on tensile structures.

Isabel Avendano
I have been working towards something special for some upcoming work and without giving too much away, here is a small snap shot of these barrel-like moulds made out of MDF.

In preparation for an upcoming piece, I have been working through the basics of learning how to turn for the first time. Learning a new skill set can be a humbling experience but progress has been made albeit with a few catches in between.
