She Bangs ToolSchool; For Women, By Women

She believed she could, and so she did.

Doing-It-Yourself is hugely empowering! But having the confidence to give it a go starts with knowing which tool you need, and how to use it properly and safely. Especially catering to women who want to be handy at home, ToolSchool is suited to novices and beginners, as well as more experienced D-I-Yers who would like to join a female-friendly community of locals who love to get on the tools and give it a go!

She Bangs offers ToolSchool workshops, events and other programs including D-I-Y, together! – each aimed at providing exposure and practice to common tools and techniques needed around the home, especially timber-framed houses, and timber fixtures and fittings, aswell as activities such as furniture upcycling.

Coming soon is a ’She Bangs Shed’, providing a place to play and a tool library.  Meanwhile, longer term the plan is to offer community-based tiny house framing and fit-out workshops.
