David Hall Boxmaker

I am a retired engineer living in North East Victoria, where I produce a small but steady number of bespoke wooden boxes.

My boxes are all of my own design and of a modern style. Every box is unique in design and/or timber selection. I use predominantly Australian timber. In most cases solid timber is used for the box body and figured veneer is employed in the lid. A large number of pieces feature a wooden dowel hinge, which provides a point of difference to other makers.

My work is available through a number of galleries or on direct commission.
